Description
Another day, another ridiculously good value find at Dealers Choice.
Everyone knows the BMW 1 Series. It has earned its reputation over the years as one of the best premium hatchbacks you can buy. Now pair that with BMW's legendary 2.0L turbo diesel and you have a car that ticks almost every box. Strong performance, incredible fuel economy, proven reliability, and running costs that are surprisingly sensible. There is a reason you still see so many of these on the road today. They are simply that good.
Finding one, however, that hasn't been driven into the ground is becoming a different story.
This one immediately stood out to us. A respectable 111,500 km, a Full BMW Service History, and owned by one meticulous owner from new. That's the kind of history you want to see. No guessing games, no long list of previous owners with different driving habits. This was clearly someone's pride and joy, and the condition reflects exactly that.
The spec is probably my favourite part. Alpine White has always been one of the best colours to own. It stays timeless, looks clean for years, holds its value well, and suits the shape of the F20 perfectly. Then you open the door and you're greeted by the Coral Red and Black interior, which completely transforms the cabin. It gives the car personality without being over the top.
Throw in the M Sport package, the sunroof, the 18-inch wheels and all the other factory extras, and you end up with a hatchback that still feels special every time you walk up to it.
Honestly, this is one of those cars that makes complete financial sense, but still manages to put a smile on your face every single time you drive it. That's a combination that is getting harder and harder to find.

Service history
Full BMW Service History
You can choose what today's market is full of... another cheaply built piece of plastic with a warranty, or a proper German-engineered driver's car with years of proven reliability behind it.
I know which one I would choose.
Maybe I'm a little biased because I've driven this exact 120d, but that's exactly the problem. Once you've driven one this well looked after, you completely understand why people keep coming back to them.
Keep well, see you soon.
